Ideally located across from the Lower Rainbow Loop Trailhead, the cabin sits between the historic Stehekin Pastry Company and Rainbow Falls. It's just a scenic one-mile walk to the Falls, passing by Stehekin Schools and a peaceful creekside trail leading to the historic Buckner Orchard.

Since Stehekin is remote, plan ahead for food and beverages. While there’s no grocery store, the Stehekin Pastry Company (a quick half-mile stroll) offers incredible breakfasts and lunches—don’t miss the biscuits and gravy or cinnamon rolls! Seasonal produce from nearby organic Stehekin Garden is just a mile away, plus you may help yourself to our little garden to round out your meals. For an evening away, dinner at Stehekin Valley Ranch provides a memorable meal and valley bus ride with reservations required. (They are happy to stop at our cabin upon request.)

The property includes some shared amenities with one other rental, such as river access and roadside lawn.
